I agree with you D. Lynn. I think Bastien is a good fit for the boys. I will always miss Austin but I remember it was his choice to leave. I was a little surprised by Bastien’s smooth voice. Nice and smooth. I understand he’s from Detroit so maybe we won’t be getting as many country songs from him but it will leave the genres open that he can do like more pop??? I don’t know who the patron is that is your friend but hope you’ll tell us one of these days. Good one D. Lynn!!

They did a great cover of one of my favorite Bonnie Raitt songs. Bastien's voice was perfect for the lead. Everyone sounded awesome in the background vocals, with Tim's bass & Adam's vocal percussion. Looking forward to more of the new songs with the newest member.

I love Bonnie Raitt! Did you know that Stevie Ray Vaughan helped her get clean and sober before he died? She mentioned it at his funeral. The next year, she released the album that contained this song ❤️ I'm loving that they'll probably do more rock/pop with Bastien on the team.

I just found your channel and enjoyed that before the video started you gave us some background about the song i enjoyed that.. I think Adam Bastein is a great addition to the group im glad he's back with the group, i was worried who could ever fill Austins shoes .. and im glad Adam filled austin shoes really well. He has an amazing voice love the bluzzy feel to the song... This was the perfect song to introduce Bastien as part of the group. He sounded amazing! A little jealous of the patrons that got to be in this video. I recognized a few of them. That had to be so much fun to be a part of.

Bastien chose this song to be his first video with the group. I like the jazzy bluesy sound of it. Bastien has an energy and style of his own. Great reaction as usual.

No, I don’t think it’s Chance doing that high note at the end. He’s singing it just in the video. I like the vibe of this song. I always love it when they add a bit of R&B flair. I’m hearing a lot more of Rob in their concert videos with the new Adam.

I LOVE this!! It was the perfect introduction to Bastien and some of what he is bringing to the whole. As much as I love and adore Austin and his voice I'm very excited for this new era of Home Free, to see where they go with this new addition to the band. I have loved Bastien ever since I first heard him roughly 8 years ago when he was singing with Chris' project, 7th Ave, after he left Home Free. They've got some really good covers if you are interested in something to react to. Bastien also has star quality, just like Austin, it's just a different vibe to it. Before we knew Bastien was going to be the new guy that was what I was most worried about. I didn't doubt that they would find a voice and personality that fitted with them, but the star quality isn't something that is super easy to find. They did well. I was, before knowing it was going to Bastien, wondering if I would still want to go see them live in concert, and I can now say that I definitely will want to go see them in concert when they get back to Europe, hopefully next year. Thanks for the reaction, as alwasy. <3

It's true that they still have the innocence and sweetness of youth. But they have incredible talent. The oldest boy has a special quality to his voice along with a real passion for what he is singing. He could go far alone but it's sweet to see them all together.

Just an added bit of info on the Cowsills... the rock group influenced the creation of the television show..."The Partridge Family" back in the late 60's early 70's. The producers even wanted the little sister (Susan???) to be in the tv show...but the family said "no way." ALSO...this song was from a very popular Broadway musical called "Hair" which was very controversial...due to the use of full frontal nudity in the play..etc Carl Reiner produced this particular television special and requested the Cowsills create their on recorded version of the song for his tv show...and lip sync to it on the television special. During that time the Cowsills had a big No #1 hit called "Indian Lake" and were touring. They had to stop the tour...go into the studio...create the recording of the song; "HAIR" and send it off to Carl Reiner...then made the clip which you are viewing now. Interesting????

This is my anthem! I'm 68 with shoulder length hair! You have a generational challenge understanding this song. Back in the 60's it was disgraceful for a man to have long hair. The Beatles were highly criticized for their 'long' hair! By today's standard The Beatles hair wasn't long at all, at least when they first became a hit. Also, none of that hair on The Cowsills was real. They were so square they were cubical! Loved your reaction to the song! You should check out Rain, the Park, and Other Things. The title has nothing to do with the song, BTW. Susan Cowsill was about 9 or so when this was performed. She and her two surviving brothers still tour and do performances around the country. She's in her 60's now!
